Join the CSM’s world percussion ensemble and dancers as they bring the much loved children’s book, My Cat Likes to Hide in Boxes to life for Kidsfest. Cats from many different countries may like to do all kinds of strange and exotic things like fly aeroplanes, or sing and dance, or even play the violin – but my cat, an ordinary round-the-house cat, likes to hide in boxes.
You will hear music from all over the world including log drums from Rarotonga, Samba from Brazil and Taiko from Japan. An exciting and engaging performance that will thrill little ones and their families. Inspired by Eve Sutton and Lynley Dodd’s picture book MY CAT LIKES TO HIDE IN BOXES.
