The CSM is excited to be forming a Big Band in 2018 under the direction of Georgina Rees-Stevenson and Stephen Nichols. To kick it off we will be running a weekend workshop with big band leader, Rodger Fox, who will work with all participants over a weekend. It is anticipated that players around about Grade 5-6 level and above would find it the most rewarding

The workshop will be held in the Catholic Cathedral College Hall at 62 Ferry Rd.
The dates and times are:
Friday 23 February 6pm-8pm
Saturday 24 February 3pm-6pm
Sunday 25 February 1.30pm- 5.00pm

The cost for each participant will be $50 – this will include afternoon tea on Saturday and Sunday. Once you have registered you will be invoiced by CSM.

At the conclusion of the workshop, a decision will be made about the make-up of a permanent band and a day and time for rehearsal
