This programme is built around a new work specially composed for Camerata and its conductor Patrick Shepherd, “Reflections” by Christchurch composer John Emeleus. Soprano Charlotte Wilson is the soloist for Caro Mio Ben, Shenandoah and two songs by Gerald Finzi, all of which have been especially arranged for strings by the conductor. Also on the programme is Pierne’s delightful Serenade and a Fantasia by Purcell as well as Warlock’s ever-popular Capriol Suite.
