Christchurch School of Music

Scholarships

Every year the CSM offers a number of scholarships in conjunction with the Christchurch School of Music Support Trust.

Scholarships are awarded on the basis of an audition and/ or on the statement by the student’s HOD/conductor in which the student’s attitude, attendance and contribution to the School are assessed.  Auditions will be held in a supportive, low key environment to ensure that students are able to perform to the best of their ability.  Every attempt will be made to ensure that the audition process is an enjoyable experience.

Applications close on Wednesday 26 October.

Scholarship auditions will be held on Saturday 5 November 2016 from 1pm-5pm.

All scholarship winners will be expected to play at the Scholarship Concert on Thursday 8 December 2016 at 7pm.

Rules

Students awarded a Scholarship in one year are not eligible to apply for scholarships in the following year.

Students must be available to audition on the advised date.

Scholarships may not be awarded if no suitable candidates apply.
