Rachel is a final year performance cello student at the University of Canterbury. As well as studying music she is working towards a law degree and has graduated with a diploma in Chinese Language. She has been teaching at the Christchurch School of Music for the past three years, and often teaches as a relief itinerant cello teacher in schools. She is a member of the Christchurch Youth Orchestra, University Orchestra and the Canterbury Cellists. She also enjoys playing chamber music in various ensembles.
