Maree has taught classroom music at schools in Wellington, Auckland and Christchurch and had a Suzuki flute studio in Southland for a number of years. She is now enjoying her role as the CSM Superviser of the Recorder School ( Junior department) and as an itinerant woodwind teacher & band director in some CSM Outreach schools. She plays tenor saxophone in a Big Band and flute & clarinet in a variety of groups.
