Jenny began playing cello at the CSM and later studied cello performance at Otago and Victoria Universities and in London.

She has given solo and chamber music recitals in New Zealand and the UK and has broadcast for Radio New Zealand. She is an experienced orchestral musician and has played in the Christchurch Symphony. She is the cellist in the Tresoli Piano Trio. She has been teaching cello for over twenty years and has a special interest in teaching adults.
