Theory and musicianship classes are offered in graded levels to enable students to prepare for external exams as well as develop theoretical knowledge valuable to all performing musicians.

Students can choose either Wednesday 4:00pm to 5:00pm or Saturday morning hour-long classes. When enrolling by semester, students must advise the tutor (and Office) at the end of that term if they wish to be placed for the following term, so that students on the waiting list can be brought in as vacancies occur.

Theory classes for adults only are provided where there are sufficient enrolments.
