Windpower is a select group of teenagers who meet to combine their talents in flute, clarinet and saxophone. As well as social occasions and a lot of laughs (usually at their conductor’s expense!), the group works hard on mastering music from the likes of Vivaldi and Mozart right through to more contemporary works. Students in the group are given an opportunity to expand their skills by performing on auxiliary instruments such as piccolo, alto and bass flutes and bass clarinet.
