The Christchurch Junior Choir caters for 8 - 12 year olds who enjoy singing in a positive environment. Singing techniques and musicianship skills are introduced during weekly rehearsals. A repertoire of enjoyable, popular songs is chosen to capture the interest of this age group including movement and simple choreography. Part singing is introduced through rounds, partner songs and two part pieces. The Christchurch Junior Choir has a high profile in public performances.
